National Night Out

Van Alstyne is proud to participate in the National Night Out Event 40th Anniversary. National Night Out will be hosted at the Central Social District Park on October 3rd from 6PM to 8PM. Come and Enjoy this FREE event! There will be Train Rides, Bounce Houses, Face Painting, Hot Dogs & Chips, Coffee, Watermelon, and Other Fun Activities. Explore the Care Flight Helicopter and Van Alstyne Police Cars.

Big Dave with Mad Rock 102.5 Radio Station will be broadcasting LIVE from this event. There will be give giveaways, raffle items, and interactive booths. You can meet local Law Enforcement & First Responders that protect and serve Van Alstyne!

At 7PM on October 3rd, you can enjoy the Annual Police VS Fire Tug ‘O’ War Competition. Which team will take home the trophy this year? The reigning winners from last year was the VA Fire Department. The VA Police Department is determined to win it this year!
