Sounds of Summer Concert - Jason Boland & the Stragglers

The Sounds of Summer Concert Series in Van Alstyne draws to a close this Saturday, with the last concert on August 5, 2023 at 8PM. Jason Boland & the Stragglers will be playing at 8PM in the Central Social District Park in Van Alstyne at 215 E. Van Alstyne Parkway.

This family friendly concert, will have food trucks and the splash pad will help keep you cool in this crazy summer heat! You’ll want to come early to find a spot in the shade and to check out the vendors and food trucks.

They have been together for over 20 years and have sold over 500,000 records and 10 albums. They are a leading ambassador of the Oklahoma and Texas music movement. Earlier this year, Boland release a cover of Steve Winwood’s “Back In The High Life Again” and radio programmers around the country began spinning it and the song spent 11 weeks in the Top 40 Americana Singles Chart. The proceeds from that song went to charity. Their latest album, he made in his own organic and authentic way.
